2025 Fall Micro Season:

Important Dates:

8/1 - Practice requests sent registered and approved coaches

8/2 - Equipment pickup from 11am - 1:30pm

8/6 - Fall Coaches Meeting - Please attend to learn important information for the Fall season. A copy of the presentation, which has links to many useful coaching resources, will be posted to the WSC website after the meeting.

8/9 - Equipment pickup 12pm-2pm (after the THJSL Coaches training)

8/11 - Earliest practices can start

8/16 - Equipment pickup 11am-1:30pm

8/23 - 12pm-1:30pm OYSA On-Field Training and Micro Jersey's Distributed

OYSA will be leading an on-field training session for all Westside coaches at the Conestoga Middle School turf field. Though all coaches are welcome, there will be an emphasis on providing new coaches with tools to give them confidence leading practice sessions.  Micro jerseys and gifts for fall coaches will be available at this session.The general schedule will be:

      10 AM - Micro jerseys and coaches gifts available.

      10:30-11:30 - OYSA on-field training session.

8/23 - Equipment pickup 12pm-1:30pm

9/6 - First of 8 games

11/1 - Last Game

Fall Format

  • 1 practices per week
  • Games will be on Saturday afternoons with start times of 1pm to 4pm
  • Practice day/time/location are determined based on coach preference
  • Games are at Fir Grove Elementary School
  • 4v4 on one field (2 - 20 min halves with a quarter break in each half)

Equipment provided by parents (be prepared before your first practice)

  • Size 3 soccer ball
  • Shin guards
  • Soccer cleats (no baseball, football shoes allowed)
  • Soccer shorts
  • Soccer socks for practices

Due to the possibility of extreme weather conditions, practices/games may be postponed/canceled. No guarantee that practices/games will be made up. Extreme weather conditions are a risk for outdoor sports programs and can happen anytime of year.
